Unity Sand - Blessing
Stones - Message In Bottle
Unity Sand
Start of ceremony place the Sand and Unity Bottles on the table near the
officiant representing the Bride and Groom.
Children or Family Members may be remembered at this time.
You may use colored sand along with sand from the beach location where
you are getting married.
Reading
"You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each
other. Today, this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of
these two individual containers of sand.”
“One representing you Bride and all that you were, all that you are, and
all that you will ever be.” ( Bride pours some of his sand first. )
“The other representing you Groom, and all that you were, all that you
are, and all that you will ever be.” ( Groom pours some of her sand
first. )
"As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container,
the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be
joined together as one.” ( They pour the rest of the sand together. )
“Just as these sands can no longer be separated and poured into the
individual containers, so will your marriage be.”
Blessing
Stones
At the end of the ceremony the
bride and groom along with the wedding guess and bridal party gather at
the ocean shore.
Each takes a blessing stone, and
as they toss the stones in the ocean each makes a silent wish for the
couple.
Children enjoy this addition to
the ceremony, just watch their aim.

Message In A Bottle
Message In A Bottle
can make for a wonderful keepsake or your
wedding ceremony and vows.
Both the bride and groom will write a personal
message to each other about the importance of this day and how they
feel.
Place the message in the bottle and keep it until
your first anniversary. This will make a beautiful memory to read on
your first anniversary.
